My new rescue girl

I found a lady that rescued a reticulated python from a petstore, and now I have her. lol. She's will be my first snake that is over 8ft ( my biggest was my boas) so I'm pretty excited. She's about 6-7ft long right now, eating large rats. I don't think she was handled much as she freaks out slightly when taken out of the bin, but she's getting better.

Anyways, this is Mary. :) I plan on making her a large enclosure by the start of next year.

Just playing giant snake police for a second - do you have the required permits for the state of Florida? They are pretty sketchy for owning reticulated pythons there if I remember correctly . . ..

Please be careful with the giant snake hobby by showcasing responsible ownership. Reticulated Pythons are listed as a species of Concern in the state of Florida and can not be purchased or acquired for personal procession post 2010 unless proper paperwork is acquired which is difficult to get:
