Is this het pied a morph
This is my het pied female. I'm pretty sure that she is because I got her from a breeder that I trust and have dealt with for years. I'm just curious as if she has something else at play here her belly is orange looking. Does it look like yellow belly maybe and she has a couple of odd color patches sort of like ringers. I'm just curious to see if anyone else thinks there's something going on with her. Sorry for the crappy phone pics if anyone needs more pics on her please just ask and I will try to get them. Thanks in advance http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/15/sa2uqy6y.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/15/aqybujyd.jpg

Definitely not a yellowbelly. I would count on her being what she was sold to you as. :)

Coldblooded first things first. Thankyou for your quick response. what makes you say that she's not what she was sold to me as?. Is it something with the belly? she was just sold to me as a normal 100% het pied. I know a lot of people say I have to trust the breeder that I got her from but I got my male pied from him also. and I told him what my intentions were . he sold me a the female het pied ( snake in question) so I can pair them in the future. The colors aren't really coming up so what I will try to do today is get pics outside. Hopefully they can help. Again thanks for your reply.

I'm sorry there must be some confusion as to what I was asking. I know she's not a yellow belly. My question is does anyone think that there is something else at play here? I only ask because her belly color looks off to me and she has that patch on her neck. Or is that something that het pieds get . Again I'm sorry for the confusion.[emoji5]️[emoji5]️

I believe that the "patch" is why they called her a "ringer" (a marker of the het pied gene) and the orange tinge in her belly scales may just be signs that she's going into shed...belly scales are white..or have black spots but even a yellowbelly or even orangebelly still have white belly scales...she's beautiful!!

That is a very nice Het. Pied that you should get pieds with very bright patterns from, she really is a nice animal.
