    Pro-Line display cages.

I like em and think they look great.

    Hope you do too!

Your carpet is a jungle correct? How nippy has he/she been?

Actually she's a coastal, but coastals and jungles are the same DNA wise. There is ongoing research and debate on that and both types are highly variable.

She could be a cross and here in the US, it's very likely.

I've been bitten only once and a 1 year old carpet didn't even draw blood.

They are a bit flighty and move VERY fast. She sometimes over shoots herself and ends up almost falling out of my hands.

But like most carpet folks that know and love them, I have to agree, they settle fast.

I think you would be easily adjusted because you have Kings.

I was asking becuase i have a friend that got one at repticon. The seller was selling it for some other person. It was sold as a jungle and looks like one. We think it is somewhere between 1-2 years old, maybe older, but it has continued to be nippy. I do not know how much the guy holds it now but the last time i talked to him he said the snake was still nippy. I want a carpet and maybe one day will get one but i have not decided on which one to get. Every rime i like one then i see another and can not decide. The diamond carpet looks awesome.

Great looking setups Gio, as usual. Pro-line should give you a sponsorship for all the promoting you do for them. ;) :gj:

Everyone has their preferences for different snakes(obviously). For me, it's the carpets that look like highlighters or have a lot of yellow in them. So zebra/jungle/jaguar for me.

Every snake is different. A local pet store to me had a very nippy carpet which bit me 6 times and went for my face 2x. I wanted to buy it on the spot but didnt' have the room/money at the time. Went back a 3 weeks later and one of the new employees had it tamed down and was walking around the store with it wrapped in her hair. Snake was bought up less than a month later after being there for 6 months. Some won't calm down, others need extra attention. Was at white plains last weekend and one of the carpet breeders said his babies are usually pretty calm out of the egg.

    Ha!

Actually Ed from Pro-Line offered me a free snake, I just had to pay shipping. It was a 6 foot male Darwin/IJ/Coastal.

My wife wanted me to start smaller. However a female coastal is going to end up larger than 6 feet LOL!

I actually like all types of caging, but obviously have my preference, and really appreciate folks who set up display cages, even if only for a few of their animals.

I enjoy the hobby because I enjoy looking at the animals, and seeing some "zoo style" setups.

Having a small collection allows me to spoil the animals somewhat.

Gio, what background is that you have in your bottom cage? Really like it, looks great. The entire enclosures look awesome.

The background also comes from Constrictors NW. I is a sheet of extremely durable rubber. There are several choices, you can cut these and screw it into the cage easily.
