    i had recently aquired a diamondXcarpet cross as a freebee in a deal for a friend of mine. morphs r 1 thing, but i don't appreciate hybrid crosses of reptiles. they become sterile for a reason. cuz they r not supposed to be. could anyone shed some light on what this is? can it reproduce? is it safe to cross these?

    hey wendy i don't have alot of info on carpets but i know who might. go to MoreliaPythons.com and ask some of those guys

    Introducing......
    Being that both breeds territories cross over, this sometimes happens in nature as well.
    Im all about keeping bloodlines clean (I love carpets and diamonds, but think the hybrid is ugly) but I dont see it as a huge deal. I am sure a large number of carpet pythons from Australia have mixed blood so to speak.
