    Pink-tongued skink
I am thinking of getting a pink tongued skink and had a few questions. I've been told that a "UVB" bulb is mandatory. I have quite a few reptile bulbs that have UVA. Is there a difference between UVA and UVB?
and if any of you know, what wattage bulb is best for a pink tongue? 40w,60w,100w,ect. Thanks!

UVA and UVB are different wavelengths of the UV band. (http://www.anapsid.org/liteheat.html) A quick search on google will tell you all you want to know about the difference in Rays. When you talk about wattage bulbs I assume you are talking about a basking bulb, it all depends on your setup. Have you done any research on pink tongue skinks and their care, diet, cage requirements, the difficulties with keeping them? It sounds like you need to do a lot more research.
