My girl not using her hide.

So since i gave my girl normal a new log hide (as apposed to her small box) she has never used it. Very rarely will i see her under it. Instead she uses some vines i have attached to the back corner, curled up in the corner under them. Is it possible she just likes the vines better? Or maybe her hide is too small? Just curious... I know they like hides that are kind of small...im not sure if its time to upgrade her hide or maybe get her one thats more like the box and enclosed.

I used a 12qt washtub (same aisle as dish racks) from walmart and take a razor and trim the lip and cut a entry hole. I take a mini torch and smooth the edges and wash it. Havent seen them since.

On a smaller scale there is a 5qt pail (with metal handle) and I did the same thing for my BP baby. Works wonderfully.

Large manufactured hide of similar size is around 10-12 dollars. Washtub was 1.97

Medium hide is 7.99 i checked yesterday. Pail was 2.17 and they took under 5 minutes beginning to end.

They like small tight hides where their body can touch three sides with just a small opening for them to peek out.
The logs are not very good as hides.
