    RHP setup
    Ok...

so just wondering how/where you all attached the T stat probes to RHPs in enclosures?

I am setting up a small arboreal enclosure for my GTP and just got the RHP installed...i have NO clue on where and how to connect the T Stat probe....

    Thanks!! :D

Drill a hole in the enclosure on the hot side. Feed the probe wire through the hole. Tape the wire in place on the outside of the enclosure, just let the probe dangle on the inside. Set t-stat as needed to create the hot spot temperature you want where the snake will bask.

I've also seen instances where people use nylon fasteners or a small strip of velcro to secure the probe wire to the top of the enclosure near the RHP. You still have to play with the t-stat setting to get the hot spot you want.

As said above, it doesn't matter so much where you set your probe, you just need to set your thermostat to the correct temp so your hot spot is right.
