I picked up this cutie and man does she have moxie. First bites and they are from a baby boa. She's pretty so I forgive.

I definitely will. I have to give her a little soak to loosen up a little patch of stuck skin on her back. :)

She's awesome. Does she feel really strong yet when she wraps around your arm? I look forward to seeing progression posts :)

    Congrats!

You are going to love her. I've only had my little guy for a week and a half and he is one of the most amazing snakes I've ever had.

I definitely look forward to posting pics! And yeah, she is strong, even at her tiny size.

Yeah, this little girl seems very inquisitive. It makes her appear more intelligent :P

I am still keeping her quarantined, but I am giving her super brief "handling" sessions. It's mainly to give her some help with a streak of stuck skin on her back. Though most of the time she is just sitting in the bath.

Though I am curious about her behavior. I don't believe she is star gazing, but she certainly checks things out, really looking around. Is this normal?

    Congratulations - she's a cutie!

Keep her quarantined for a minimum of 60 days (I personally do and recommend 90 days). Boas do tend to be far more alert. If you are used to BPs, then you'll see a big difference between them and boas. They will often look up and seek things out. :gj:

Yes! She seems to think things out more than my other snakes. Even though I only take her out to get that shed off.
I am keeping her in a space for 60-90 days, but I love watching her in her enclosure. She's only been with me a few days and is really growing on me :)
