    Mentor?
I wanted to know if anyone would let me come to their facility or collection to see how things work I am really passionate about reptiles and would like to own a collection one day but I want to get some experience first. And with my grandma living with me I can only have one because she is scared. If you or anyone you know would let me come in and teach me a few tricks that'd be great. Please tell me what state you are located in and your contact info please.

It would probably be easier for you to tell us where you are. That way people close to you can let you know if they're interested. You may also want to try some of the gazillion facebook pages that cater to your species of fancy.

I don't have a facebook page. I don't want a facebook page. But...I'm beginning to wonder if I NEED a facebook page due to my snake and rat/feeder breeder hobbies. Wah! I don't want a facebook page!

OP - I'd suggest doing some research and finding out what breeders are near you, then contact them directly. Go to a local reptile show and ask around. Stuff like that. I think showing some initiative like that will be more likely to get you in the door than a post on a forum.

See if there is an active Herpetological Society in your area as well.

How about Reptile Passions in Gastonia? Maybe you could help them find their snakes too :)
