Random question about Male vs Female size
I know females get larger then males but my question is do they just keep growing after a male stops growing or are they just always bigger? Sorry I know it sounds kinda stupid, but I'm just curious.

So what you are asking is for example; if you had 2 clutch mates and the male pretty much reached his growth peak at say, 3 yrs , would the female still be growing for a certain period of time longer?

    or -

Is it more like humans where males and females are similar in size until puberty and adolescence, and then, BOOM! Growth spurts occurs?

Not stupid at all, interesting question.

Maybe some breeders and experienced handlers will shed some light.

I was wondering the same thing. From my small collection the young female i have seems to be bulkier then the males. Dont know its thats just the individual snake though.

Interesting question.. I have a very large male, he's just about as big as my 2200g female. Maybe it has more to do with the genetics of individual snakes.

Yeah that's pretty much what I was asking, I have a male and a female that are about the same length and age but the male is fatter because the female was neglected before I got her.

I guess it size could in this case could also be determined by eating habits. i.e., if the male was a more aggressive eater.
