Re: Picture time
I do have a favorite, but don't tell the others ;). The albino is my favorite because he is just the sweetest puppy dog. As far as looks go, I love the champagne and super pastel. Ok, I love them all.

Nice collection! I suspect it is just the lighting, but your male pastel looks kinda chocolatey. I don't mean the chocolate morph, and I'm not just referring to the brown-out. He looks more brown that black even in areas that should be black on a pastel. Kinda cool if that is his true coloration.
I'm happy to see the thayeri. I think they are such beautiful snakes! Other than not holding still, what are their personalities like?

The pastel male is from Garrick Demeyer and he was never bright even as a hatchling. I know he's not what people call a quality pastel, but I adore his blushing. He was my first ball python. I'll post another pic of him in different lighting. As for the thayeri, they are some of the sweetest snakes ever. The male is just a puppy dog. Very calm and very curious. The female is a little wiggly when you first pick her up because she is young but she's very sweet. You can go forever without handling the male and he's still so chill.

Thanks for the info about the thayeri. I agree your pastel has nice blushing, and that chocolatey look is interesting. Caught my eye even if it doesn't fit the usual definition of "high quality pastel".

These pics show his color accurately. I took them in 2 different rooms for different lighting. Kind of a "blah" pastel but like I said I fell in love with his blushing. Garrick mentioned once in a comment on another pastel hatchling that looked similar that he produces a few of these "darker" pastels sometimes.
