Let me see your ADULT pastels!!
I want to see some high quality and low quality!! I'm also curious...does the 'quality' of a pastel pass on to its offspring, or is it like Pied and kinda random? I only ask, because I'm getting a pastel female...and while I can tell the difference from it compared to a normal...I don't know if it's the greatest quality.

I do not have any pics atm but I can answer your question. The quality is passed on to the offspring but only if the animal it is paired with is compatible with it. What I mean is if you take a high quality pastel and breed it to a really dark normal you will produce lower quality babies. The same in reverse a low quality pastel to bright normal will make better pastels.

So if I bred a pastel to say, a bumblebee, the quality doesn't have as big of an effect?

IMO when it comes to breeding stock, Quality always matters.

Well yes, of course. But if one parent isn't as high of quality as the other, is it a deal breaker? Like i said, in pieds, it doesn't matter the 'quality' of them...the quality is random.

It would depend on the quality of the pastel in the bee if assume. Always shoot for high quality in all your animals and you'll be aight ;)

Here's my pastel, I consider her to be decent quality but I've seen better. 2nd is a pic of her last clutch with two pastels she produced. Ones nicer than the other. Sire was a spider. I believe that the dams influence on the top right snake is heavier but I don't believe the snake would be as nice with a lower quality animal...my opinion. Also a pic of what I consider very low quality pastel het pied. Got him for free so I ain't complaining but probably won't be breeding to anything either.

The pastel het pied is very brown, idk what the parents looked like hats ican tell he's got a very strong brownout line. He is in shed right now and been trying to kill me even when I'm just walking through the room so I'm not going to clean his hide til he chills out a bit. 'Scuze his poop smeer on his hide lol

I always thought this guy turned out pretty good. He was probably 2 or 3 in this pic...around 1500+ grams...
