New Addition/Possible extra gene at play? Need opinions
Hello everyone I wanted to share my newest addition with you and get your opinion on if she has any extra gene at play. Some background info: I bought this Female butter from an awesome guy on Fauna Classifieds his name is Vance Carmon. He did not produce this female butter, he bought her from a reptile show and forgot to ask the breeder about the pairing that produced her because he thought something extra may be at play as well but he never got around to it. So the only thing that makes me think something extra is going is that she has a very clean pattern and her colors are a neon yellow/purplish hue that I've never really seen on a butter/lesser before. So I'd love to see what you guys think. First I'll share the pics Vance sent to me.

Picture in the ad that drew me to her.

Extra pics that I requested because I couldn't believe she was just a Butter.

Now I just received her today and I wanted to take some quick pics of my own before getting her settled in to her new home. Her colors are Extremely hard to capture on camera. The neon yellow just doesn't get picked up very well with a camera lens. It was also kinda cloudy so the sun wasn't shining to make her true colors easier to see.

I don't mind if she's just a butter I love her & I think she's perfect 😊 she will be paired up with my bumblebee Bubo when they are ready. I just want to know what I could be working with :)

Ps. She was sold to me at a butter price.

Well... she certainly isn't your average run of the mill butter is she? Lovely pickup. I'm curious to see what people say about her.

Love the look of her! My soft spot for good looking single gene females is growing by the minute. If you'd like, go ahead and send her my direction once she gets up to breeding size and I can test Travis's Fire theory. ;)

I am on the boat with h00blah. I would plan to pair her with a male fire or vanilla something in the future to prove out that fire gene.

Haha thank you :) I feel in love the moment I laid eyes on her and knew I had to have her! And the price was way too good to pass up! I'm very curious about more comments too [emoji4]

Thanks so much :) I'm so glad you said this because that's what I thought she could be but didn't write it in my post just to not make any assumptions. But the really light color and little head spot make me lean toward fire. But I'm very excited to get her paired up with something and see what pops out :)

Thank you [emoji4] and I have a huge soft spot for the perfect single gene female. I can't afford the expensive multigene animals so I like to find the best example of the single gene and get a nice two gene male so i can make those expensive snakes I can't afford and hold them back. Haha and she's not going anywhere [emoji12] I can't wait to prove out what she is though!

Thank you, that's a wonderful idea! Make some yummy vanilla creams, or super fires! I'll definitely have to change up my breeding plans a little to prove this girl out :)
