    Spider and?
http://i.imgur.com/Edi3MVN.jpgSo I have this spider that I got awhile back I traded the guy one of my boas and when I did he told me it was a female which it turned out to be a male but whatever the guy I got it from also said he bought him as a genetic stripe but it didn't prove out for him what do you guys think he is? I asked Brian from bhb on twitter and he agrees it's not a normal spider

I know it's asking a lot, but punctuation would really help in understanding your post.

The guy you got it from said it was a female, but it turns out to be a male? But the guy obviously bred it as he said it didn't prove out as het GS? So the guy got eggs from a male?

Sorry I was typing a little to fast but I don't believe what the guy said at all at first I thought I could of been a female but after having it for awhile I decided to put the spider with a female and they ended up locking so I'm pretty sure the guy lied about everything but either way it's a weird spider and I'll be cutting the eggs from the pair July 12 so I guess I'll see then

Your smart phone is too stupid to prompt punctuation? That's pretty bad considering my cheap one does.

Anyway, this looks to me like a striped spider. Nothing more or less. You don't see many that are striped like this, but every once in a while one will pop up. A couple people here have them, or have hatched them out. If I were ever to buy a spider, it would have to be a striped one like this.

Unfortunately, unless you paired him to a visual genetic stripe or a proven het genetic stripe, you have no way of knowing if he is, since G stripe is recessive.

I would be interested in seeing his offspring however, to see if he passes on the stripe. Selective breeding will do that sometimes.

I agree it will be very interesting to see the eggs! Congratulations on those! Anyway, what ever it turns out to be, he is beautiful. Het for something neat or just a spider; a good looking one granted.

    EDIT: I mispelled "neat"

Thanks! Well the eggs will be ready to cut July 12 so I'll let you guys know what pops out. There is a chance I will be getting pastels because I paired one of my weird pastels with the same female she's the tester haha.
