Plywood for a small time rack system- okay or not okay?
Is plywood that's been sanded down okay for ball python racks? I would prefer melamine but I walked out with the wrong kind of material :( Is there anyway to salvage the situation if plywood is toxic or inappropriate for ball pythons? Can I dip it or putty it in something to make it more friendly?
I apologize for the odd question. I don't build things frequently if at all. I think I constructed an Eiffel tower out of toothpicks once.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks! It is 1/2 inch thick, so pretty sturdy :)

Finished! FIRST EVER RACK! All my snakes in my boyfriend's custom rack xP The irony.
EDIT: Ignore my silly scribbles on the tub. I like to marker things.

Thanks! The two shelves are the only ones not laminated, yet. But I'm finishing everything tomorrow :)

Oh it's okay, sorry in my post I wasn't totally clear. I have never made a rack before and this was my first so there is a lot of Frankenstein look to it still. I so appreciate everyone's help on it.
