Had het around my shoulds like normal and i guess she sniffed montys rat in the corner of the bedroom in the rat cage and when i went to remove her to put her back in her cage she got my neck

If she bit and latched on then it was probably a food responce from the rat. If she just struck you most likely a defensive strike. It probably just got spooked when you started pulling it off yourself. Something that happens all the time but that time something made it feel threatened.

yeah thats what i told my wife i have 7 snakes and get bit from time to time i laugh mostly or im like oh really how did my hand taste
