    Weird pastel?
http://i.imgur.com/IKPteSR.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/V2NHmPF.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/ZWIl7We.jpgSo this is probably one of my first morphs I purchased not knowing much about ball pythons at the time but now that I look at this snake he is either a really ugly pastel or something else if any one has any advice on what he could be let me know

I'm pretty sure it's not a normal if you could see him in person you could tell he has some nice yellow sides like a pastel would have but the rest up him is dark he also has the eyes pastels have

Looks like a normal to me. I'm having a hard time finding pastel in there.

I'm iffy on it being a pastel myself but I'm almost 100% it's not normal I wish he wasn't in shed so I could show you it's yellow I also breed him to a female the eggs are in a incubator but I also put a spider in with the female so I guess I'll have to wait till July 12 to see what's in the eggs

Normal all day. Pastels have clean bellies and are much lighter (even in shed) than your guy. They also sport a brown out line about half way up the body. I do not see any other morph either. Normals have quite a bit of variation so having yellow does not mean morph; just more yellow normal.

Absolutely not a pastel. I know it's not what you want to hear, but trust me it's not. Once you spend time around real morphs and develop an eye for them, the differences are clear. We see dozens of people here each week wanting to know what new, weird or amazing morph their normal is. 99.9% of the time, it is just a normal. Normals come is a HUGE range of variations. Light, dark, lots of blushing, no blushing, brown, tan, cream, sand, black, green eyes, brown eyes, clear belly, speckled belly, dark belly. There is no end to the variations in normals, but they are still just normals. And this snake is a normal. Period.

That's a normal ball python. Nothing wrong with that, it's just not a pastel. In no way does it resemble a pastel.
