    New home feedback.
I got a 7 month old bp yesterday, and this is his new home. Im looking for some feedback/advice to help make it better, or at least know if it is good enough for meow. I originally just had a UTH pad in there, but that wasn't cutting it, so I got the lamp too. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/18/yma4ahez.jpg

I would add another hide on the opposite side. Add a thermostat asap to the UTH if you dont have one and get a digital thermometer/hygrometer. Check out the care sheet. Congrats on your new snake.

I stuck the cruddy little stick thermometer on the cool side and got a digital thermo/hydro on the hot side. Im going back to the little ma and pa shop tomorrow to get a working heat pad( yeah, the zoo med one I got is broken).

ThermoSTAT not thermoMETER. The first one controls the temperature (VERY important) - the second measures the temperature. What you're talking about is the second of the two.

A good thermostat is critical to the care of a ball python, as an unregulated UTH will cause burns.

Please read this thread, as it will help provide direction for your glass aquarium setup: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...With-Pictures!
