    Lighting and racks
So I am very very new and I want to breed ball pythons cause I love genetics. I am wondering about lighting. In the rack systems that I have seen there hasn't been any lighting in them. How come?

The idea is that each bin is a hide box depending on the way you setup a rack. As a result no need for light.

Ball pythons in the wild spend most of the time underground during the day, and they hunt at night. They don't need or want light.

So the light sold is just for the people and a gimmick. Nice. I have a sweet rack but my wife is using it for towels and things. I might have to steal it back
