How do u know when a RTB is going in shed??

Just wondered cuz my ball python is in shed right now. And, I have had the RTB for about a month. So, I really don't know when it shed last. Does their belly turn pink, too? Or what?

Same process - dull colors, pink belly, gray eyes, etc. Mine will also stay in their hides while blue, even my seven foot girl.

The only real difference between them and my BP's is that all of my boas will eat while in shed, while my BP's mainly do not.

Yup. This. I've noticed my boas become reclusive when they go in shed. And they start looking very wrinkly too. :gj:

Same as above! They go "in blue" just like most snakes. The skin darkens, gets milky and the eye go blue. At first sign of blue, my boa will shed about 5-7 day later. They clear up right before they shed so it almost looks like they have shed the day before it takes place.
