Already 37 days after prely shed and yet no eggs
    Hi guys!

This is my first time breeding and i am wondering, if everything is ok.

So i think i saw her ovulate in 26th of april and she shed 9th of may. So this is already 37th day after prelay shed. I have seen three long locks between her and super pastel male.
She has always been a furious eater and hasnt been eating since 1st of may.

She pretty much stays in cool end at most of the time. But she moves in her box, every now and then. She hasnt been in full circle at all. Just something like it, but not in full circle. Her tail is pretty much always outside of that circle she sometimes is.

So imo, she is not giving much of a positive signs, that she would be laying any eggs. I dont know how swollen she should be, but she isnt that big looking, that she would blown any days now. She is cb12 and of course this is her first time. But could it be too early for her, even she is over 1,5kg+?

How long should i still wait for eggs to come?

My yellowbelly female laid six perfect eggs this year on day 44 after her pre-lay shed.

First are you positive that she ovulated?

If she did then she could lay any day, remember that 30 days POS is an average, I have had female go as long as 54 days POS that's a total of 68 days between ovy and egg laying.

Now as far as your female at this point if gravid you should be able to see and count the eggs. Pick her up holding her head up and tail down, look at her belly and reverse this position tail up and head down, you should see the eggs moving.

Yes, just be patient! She definitely sounds like she has the promise of laying any day, and I know the feeling of "shouldn't she be bigger?!" so I can relate, but it's not unheard of for them to lay after 45-50 days.
Do you have any pictures? :D
