Your best bet would be to try and get pics of the parents. If I had to guess...I'd say he's gonna brown out pretty bad. Just a guess though...

Depends on what you consider low grade. He doesn't have much yellow and looks like he's gonna brown out pretty bad. But he's got an interesting funky pattern, and I like the black flecking in his pattern. To me, he'd be worth more as a "dinker" project, than to just add Pastel to something...

That's all that really matters. Personally I think she's pretty cool looking...

"Dinker" is a term used to describe a snake that may be carrying something extra. Either a mutated gene or an inheritable trait. These are usually "proven" out by breeding. The black flecking on yours looks similiar to what are called "Granite" ball pythons... http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/granite/

I would be more interested in knowing if that particular trait is able to be passed on, than just breeding for the Pastel gene. The traits people are after with the Pastel gene are the bright yellows, which I don't think yours will have...

I think she will brown out pretty quickly but she does have a really cool pattern and I agree that she is beautiful. Definitely something to keep in mind to see how she looks when older to see if it turns out to be something cool to have as a dinker project.

I dont know if she's a pastel but she's not a normal. Dont get rid of her. Breed her and so what you get. You never know it might just be a new gene
