Yesterday I switched my BP to a larger tank ( 40 gal. long ). Now I'm having problems with my heat. My hot side is 89-92 / humidity around 50, it's the cool side giving me trouble, I can't seem to get it above 74. I do use digital and half of my tank has plexi glass over it to help keep temp and humidity in. Even with this low temp on the cool side my BP still spends alot of time over there, she's even cool to the touch when on the cool side. ( hides on both sides, water in the middle ). So with that explained my quesions are; 1. should I get a small lamp for the cool side? 2. will this low cool side temp hurt her, she still lays there for hours?.......Thanks for any advice out there.

i would get a heat lamp and a low watt reptile bulb that you can use 24/7. it could hurt her if she stays in there for a while.

I had the same problem and just added an infrared heat lamp to the cool side.
