Hehe - that's insane. How did the lady miss that in the first place? How could she tell and why did she sell?

THe guy breeds norms and morphs so when he sells them he has them marked down in a notebook and each one comes with a tag number when you buy it she read the wrong tag # when she sold it to me so she gave me the wrong price and the right snake I keep the # in my wallet so when I met him he asked me did I buy it there I told him yep and gave him the # the owner was right at the counter listening and her whole expression changed as she heard it I wanted to laugh at her so bad.

You bring your snakie with you when you buy feeders? Isn't that a little dangerous? I think it'd smell the food around the store and start getting into hunt mode. Plus all the noise, temp changes, etc....isn't that kinda bad for them? :?
Cool on the pastel het, though.

You do know that pastel is not recessive so the hets are visible (i.e. pastels). Are you talking about the snake in your avatar? It doesn't look like a pastel.

What's so funny about ripping off a small business person? How would you feel if the mistake went in the other direction? You'd be screaming about the poor ethics of the person who ripped you off, right?

There is no such thing as a Pastel Het. A pastel IS the het for super pastel. So in other words, you either have a patel or you don't.

Half of the offspring of a pastel should be (theoretically) pastel. And half of the offspring from those 2nd generation pastels will be pastels. Meaning that they only have to be carrying one copy of the superpastel gene to show as a pastel.

As the other half of the offspring (the normal looking half) They are normal ball pythons. They are not Hets. Breeding them will only produce normals.

So to wrap things up if a BP is carrying 2 copies of the superpastel gene it will be a super pastel. If it is carrying one copy of the superpastel gene it will be a pastel. If it is carrying 0 copies of the super pastel gene it will be a normal.

I hope that makes sense if there are questions or if I need to clear anything up let me know.
