    Q: Humid Hide Substrate
My BP is growing really fast so I got a new tank Its pretty big But the last tank my BP usually sat in a corner or in hide box now it is roming around like nuts is that good or bad? Is there any bad things i should look for when I change its tank? Oh and my BP is 26 inches long is it time to switch to rats? or keep her on large mice?

What size tank is it? I haven't moved my BP into a bigger tank yet. But I moved my RTB for a 10-20gal. He used to CONSTANTLY be in his hide only coming out to drink, and now he roams around. lays in the open or behin water dish and sometimes in his hide. I think it is normal for them to explore a new envirenment. I got my BP last friday and he comes out and roams around all of the time its the cutest thing. My BP is in a 10gal. and is 14inches long. What size tank did you move your BP into? and if the small rat is the same or a little less than the girth of the snake you can feed it one.

How MUCH bigger - if it is really gargantuan might want to add an extra hide or two - otherwise I wouldn't worry it's likely just checking out the new digs.

i have no idea when to move reeses to a new hom i was thinking maybe a year but he is like inly 17 inches now. i want to move him to a 4x2x2 vision cage now i would imagine since he is growing pretty fast that this will be alright! but dude as long as u can see him not being stressed outand acclimatting to his new ome then he is fine and should enjoy it. hey how big of a cage did ya get him anyway?

wow 14 inches seems small, how big is the average hatchling ?? (totally off topic, i know)

i recently switched my 21 inch ball from her ten gal to a 39 gal.Give your snake at least a week to settle in, dont handle him or mess with him.

Roxy stayed in her hide for about five days and then she explored her new home, but at night, before she was out during the day all the time but in this cage she is mostly noctunal.

oh, and yeah it hink it would be a nice time to switch to rats, im sure a 26 incher could handle it,good luck with that.
