Ball Python Cleaning Process

I want to get some feedback from other BP owners on cleaning Rack&Bin systems. I do a daily inspection and then clean the dirty bins by removing the newspaper and replacing this with new paper. I also change the water when I do this. The bins are generally clean and I would wash them once a month, unless the bin was "contaminated" I.e. The mess is not on the newspaper. I do not wash the snakes, but only place them back in the bin. What is good practice or what do other members do that works well.

That is good, but with newspaper/paper i try to clean/wipe bin with a reptile safe cleaner weekly, as the generally always do soak through paper (when it is replaced and i use indent kraft paper which is alot thicker then newsprint) But generally the same, every month no matter what i do a full whipe down with a bleach mix/scalding hot water. Aswell if snake did make a mess on hot spot, i generally will not "Bath" the snake but take a warm damp paper towel and wipe him down to keep them clean, and not smell from urine/fecal. Aswell when i clean the tubs i wipe the top of my ARS down with a warm cloth aswell. and every 3months do a Full bleach clean on the top to avoid any mold/mildew and also helps prevent any rust that may happen =)

You people must have better luck than me. I swear mine move the papertowel on purpose so they can mess the tub directly. But my cleaning process is similar, hot water rinse, bleach solution every so often, on a rare occasion I can just change paper and put the snake back.

My collection is kept on paper towels. Daily checks and water/bedding replacement goes on. Once a month, unless needed sooner, the tubs and water dishes are washed down with dish soap and hot water and replaced.

My collection also gets weekly baths to both keep them smell free and to combat the impressively low humidity where I reside in southern California. Essentially I fill the bathtub with water halfway up the animal's side and let them swim around a bit, drink the bath water, and occasionally defecate and urinate.

I don't bother bathing mine unless they've been lying in the mess. I do remove all the paper, clean the tub thoroughly, F10 it, and once the tub is dry I put in clean paper, hides, and a water bowl at least weekly, or more often if they go more often...

Yea i dont let bath, i just have a damp papertower/cloth i wipe each animal down with on cleaning days.
