Is there any general reason a bp to hiss, or is it just one of those leave me alone things?

Re: Bp hissing?
Leave me alone things. Ours has only hissed once....she was deep in blue and I figured I'll just reach in and grab her. Nope....she hissed, I listened and didn't get bit.

I dont let a lil hiss scare me. If I did I would never be able to hold my bloods. They are very hissy. If I want a snake out they come out. I have not had one yet that didn't get over it.

Sometimes they are just hissy snakes. I have a couple that love to hiss, but they calm down after a while.

He was always the vocal one :) He never struck at me though. You got nothing to worry about. All of mine get vocal when they head into shed. He is probably getting close.

A hiss just says I'm not in the mood. What I've noticed with the balls, is that a hiss is usually just a bluff. The ones that want to bite don't warn ya. ;)
