Is this the start of scale rot?

Noticed this on the snake I'm giving to my friend in about 2-3 weeks. On aspen bedding, humidity is at 55%, room temp is at 80, hot spot is at 92. Its a glass aquarium unfortunately and I'm worried because I have to pick up his second bp today and i must be doing something wrong if this has happened??? Can anyone tell me what I need to do??? but we leave on vacation for a 8 days this sunday:weirdface I have a friend coming to check on everything every 2-3 days but if this is minor scale rot what am I to do?

That does look like a slight, cause, just place on paper towel till next shed, its very very minor.
