First shed!

My new boy is in blue for the first time with us. He's been super easy- ate at the first feeding, perfect vet trip and clean fecal, and now he's going into shed right on schedule. :-D

A little hard to see in the pics, but eyes are definitely getting blue and his belly is nice and pink. His head is showing the most right now- he's grayed over on most of his head. Definitely excited!

Sounds like the words of a proud Papa.

Yayyy! The first shed is always so fun! Even though there are many many more to come they are all pretty exciting to me :D

awesome! i love getting full and clean sheds. means you're doing something right :)

I'm amazed it's been this easy. Got him two weeks ago, he's eaten twice with little difficulty- he refused rats the first time but some mouse bedding in the rat box from the store and that fixed the problem. Now he's shed and pooped - both with no issues. This seems way too easy.
