    Random light patches on head?
After my 4 year old pastel's shed, I've noticed two light patches on his head. Any one else have this happen? It seems like they get bigger and brighter with every shed, weird right? Didn't really notice them till this past shedding

Here's an overall pic of him. Not too bad for a pastel ;)

My male pied did something similar at one point. As a hatchling none of his white area had any freckling or anything of the nature. Following a shed I noticed a small black speck at the point of one of his scales in a white section, I assumed it was a mite and treated as such. With each consecutive shed his black spot has gotten bigger, now almost a year later it is roughly the size of a quarter. Seems almost like that pattern was under his scales and has slowly worked its way to the top of his scales similar to how how a blood spot under your fingernail will grow outward as the nail grows. I am probably wrong on that theory but its all I've got to go with LOL In either case no your not alone on this one.
