    signs of a healthy BP
    Hello All,
My BP has a few flaky scales. She does not seem to be bothered by it and I am assuming that is normal since I have a wood structure in her enclosure for her to rub against when she is in shed. The questions are, if she is feeding regularly, spends most of her time in a hide and does not seem agitated when I handle her; are these signs of her being healthy regardless of her flaky scales? Should I worry that she has a few minor rough spots on her body?

Also, does anybody recommend getting my snake a checkup with a herpetologist every 6 months or every year?

I appreciate anybody's opinion on these matters.
    Thank you!

Pictures would help to see if there's actually something wrong causing these flakey scales. But yes a feeding, hiding bp is mostly a happy one if the husbandry is on par.
