Very Bad Shed - what to do?
    Hi everyone,

My python had a bad shedding - now his belly looks pink (before it was more like bloody).
He finished shedding three days ago and he does looks better, but I don't know if I shall just wait or is there something to help him get back to normal quicker? The aspen sticks to his belly... .

Bloody?? I can't see the pictures, and it sounds like right now they would be very helpful.

I supplied the link to picture as well - for some reason Dropbox doesn't show images here

Looks like it's more then just a bad shed going on here.

What else can it be? How to treat it?

What are you using for heat and how are you controlling it??

Yup. That's not just a bad shed. Like Pit alluded to, it could be a burn.

Def a burn you should go to your vet immediatley and get a thermostat if you dont have 1

Go to the vet, get a reputable thermostat, put him on clean paper towel, not aspen until the burn heals.

There's no undertank heater at the moment as it's hot outside - I use lamp at nights, but he may be burned like a week or 10 days ago when I used it last time.

Thanks for the advice I will get the paper towels instead of aspen.

    Thanks
