Two clutches of eggs this morning!!

These two girls were supposed to lay about 5 days apart, but decided to go on the same day. I get up this morning to find that Kay has already laid a clutch, and Mocha was in the process of laying.

I got a total of 7 eggs from Kay and 5 from Mocha. Looks like all 7 of Kay's are fertile and 4 of Mocha's.

Both of these girls were paired with my fire spider Diablo, so I'm excited to see what I get, especially from Mocha. :)

I've candled all of the eggs, and it does indeed look like all 7 of Kay's eggs are fertile, and 4 out of 5 of Mocha's are fertile.

Pairings are normal (Kay) x fire spider and pastel (Mocha) x fire spider.

Thanks. :) Really hoping to hatch out a firefly. It's one of my favorite morphs, and I have yet to see one in person.

Will definitely post pics when they hatch.

Discovered something exciting today (for me at least). The egg labeled "M5" which mostly candled infertile a week ago, has developed veins at some point in the past 5 days. It may be that ALL of the eggs are fertile after all. :)
