    temp cycling my rack
    Hello,

I have one question I want to breed my ball pythons the only issue that I have only have one rack and in my rack I have one male who I am going to breed and one female that I am going to breed. The issue that I run into is I also have a female that I have she is about 3 years old but only at 1000 grams I don't want her to produce any eggs because of her size. If she goes through the temp changes will she still produce eggs even though she is not bred or will this be fine?

No, she may develop follicles. If you don't breed her then they won't become eggs. After developing follicles a female ovulates at which point they become eggs. If you don't breed her, she will just re absorb the follicles.

We don't drop temps at all during breeding, and haven't for several years, so that would be another option.
