    Wrinkled/indented scales on head
A few months ago, I noticed that the scales on my BP's head looked wrinkled/indented. He's been acting normal and eating fine. He just shed a couple weeks ago, and I was hoping that would clear things up, but the scales still look the same. I had a hard time keeping his humidity level up over the winter, but he's been shedding fine. Any idea what could have caused this? I'm hoping it will go away over time.

Here are a couple pictures I came across that look similar:

The scales on the far right look similar.

Look at the scales right above the eyes.

Have you tried giving him a water soak(with electrolyte water) should help plump up the scales.

He is fine. Sometimes scales get scared, just like human skin. Just keep the correct humidity and you'll be fine. No need to soak a snake....ever

Do you think his scales will eventually look normal again?

Like all scars, they will improve with time - but will forever remain
