    Hello all,

I'm new to the forums and to keeping Ball Pythons. I have kept a Black Mexican Kingsnake named Avernus, but I'm learning all the specifics that go with keeping BPs.

I aquired my new BP (she is 2 months old) last Tuesday from Port Credit Pet Centre and attempted her first feeding tonight (she had been fed on Sats). She ate the thing (sorry... dissassosiation... the fuzzzy) pretty quick! I was kind of worried from all the horror stories I have heard and read about feeding BPs, but am feeling some relief (at least untill next sat... lol). I'm used to my Kingsnake being a pig and eating the mice before they hit the ground... lol... Cumae's table mannors seem to be a little more refined :)

Anyways, hello all, I look forward to a long, exciting and rewarding experience keeping and living with these snakes.

    ~Matt~

P.S. I will post pictures as soon as I find the software for my digital camera

Welcome, Matt! Congrats on a successful first feeding. You have a leg up since you've been keeping another snake, but the folks here are wonderful and generally very happy to help if you have questions. :)
