Where else to go for quality Ball Pythons in the South Florida area?
I can't in good conscience go through the reptile dealer I have been using since the 90's any longer, it's an abusive relationship. The snakes are fine, the prices are fine, the customer service has become just miserable in the rush to get animals to auction, I can only assume. I've never had a retailer make it so hard to spend my money with them in my entire life.

Please as I am just building my collection up if you know any solid local sellers in the Broward County area please let me know or even the best shows to visit to meet local breeders and sellers. If it's not allowed to post what might be considered an advertisement in the forums, please PM me. I'm quite serious I can't take it anymore at the local retailer I was using.

Have you thought about purchasing over the internet? Lots of great ones out there. I am in Georgia and I can give you a great one here.
Snakes at Sunset is out of Florida. I can't remember exactly where but you can look them up.

    why not search nationwide?

it also has the advantage that you have so much more to choose from. shipping is the only real disadvantage.

maybe a reptile show can also be the solution.

that is the only reason i wanted to look local, the shipping. from the slight risk it poses to the animal and the cost. if shipping was always $39.99 , ok lots of places want like $75.00..ouch. i also like to hand pick my animals. i think there is a repticon show locally in june that i'll hit and make contacts.

you can make contacts with breeders before the show, and can ask them to bring specific BPs to the show for you to look at.

if that doesnt work because you cannot find out which breeders go there, then get that information at the show so that you have it next time.

good luck, im sure you will manage to get nice BPs even without shipping, when you have a reptile show nearby then that can really solve the problem.
