Why do we name our snakes?
This goes for me too. Why do we name snakes. It aint like if we call them they come running. Or slithering. Whichever. And if u say yours does....then quit huffing generic brand spray paint.

Think it gives us a sense of individuality for them. We may have multiple of the same kind or morph, but a name separates them, along with them having all diff personalities sometimes a name could go along with it.

I used to name mine when I first started...more of a way to ID them than anything...I eventually thought "why am I doing this?" and stopped...

Im sure once you hit a certain number you just stop, but I imagine you have a few "favorites" that have a name

Actually, my cat comes when I call her name :)

As for why I name my snakes... idk, I just like having something to call them other than "My corn snake" or "my ball python", plus I like coming up with names.
