Pastel mystic potion?

Why can't you get a pastel mystic potion? On the genetics wizard I put a pastel to a mystic potion and the only outcomes were pastave, Mojave, Mystic, and mystic potion. What happens to the mystic potion? Both genes are there?

mystic and mojave are allelic, so a mystic potion will only throw the mystic or mojave, not both, not none.

and it shouldn't say mystic potion, perhaps you meant mystic pastel?

But you could get a pastel mystic mojave if you used a mojave pastel or mystic pastel, for example...
