    Hydrofarm with Heater
So I have a heater in my room and I can't keep my temps right. Do you think a Hydrofarm would work? I use one for my heat tape.

Power load of the heater will be greater than the hydrofarm can handle.

In May... in Georgia? We had to run the A/C last weekend... or is this for winter?

It's for both my ac stays at 73 so I can't get it to the desired 79 or 80 without my heater but my heater doesn't keep the temps stable

Speaking as an electrical engineer... when designing the technical solution to a problem, we tell the customer to pick 2 out of 3 options:
    - Fast
    - Cheap
    - It Works

In your case, you can have all three options by simply turning up the t-stat on your HVAC; 77*F works for me.

Can't you just close the vents in the room so the cold air wont get in?

To answer the original question, yes it will work if you keep the heater on low. Check the ampere/wattage rating here. I heat(ed) my reptile room during the winter with 500w heater. Didn't use the hydrofarm though, the built in t-stat on the heater worked ok. Cheers :snake:
