Another Feeding Question

Sometimes Basil (ball python) doesn't want to eat in the feeding tank, so I'll put him back and throw him a mouse and he'll eat it in the comfort of his hide. Sometimes he'll eat in his feeding tank right away. I hear an abundance of conflicting opinions. Cage aggression myth: true or not?

Not, I feed all of mine in their tubs and have no aggression at all. When you have more than 1 its too hard to take each one out and feed in a seperate tank. Alot easier to just feed in their tubs. Plus why stress out the snake by moving it before and after feeding! Also I have found that feeding in a seperate tank will get me bit more than in their tubs due to the fact they are in feeding mode when I go to get them back out.

Just feed it in it's normal home. You will not have problems with him. However if you take him out for feeding you run the risk of being bitten when you try to return him back to his home as the previous posters have stated.

Yeah my feeding tank was small enough for me to put through the opening of his enclosure so i wouldn't have to pick him up and touch him when he was in feeding mode.

It worked better yesterday when I fed him in his tank.

Worste case you only get tagged it isnt all that bad! But no its 100% myth, If every feed you put in tank the snake "will then" associate being taken out and go into hunger mode no? its all a vicious cycle to take them out, then stressing when putting back in tank yadda yadda yadda.
