I have kind of a noob question...
I am wanting to begin my setup of the UTH with a Helix T-stat. I know Helix is said to be the best but do they make them with 2 probes? I don't know how much I trust 1 probe for 2 pads even if they are the "same" pad. How good can quality control be from one to the other?

    Hi,

It is fairly common to use a single thermostat to control a whole rack.

I would, however, always recommend running things for a day or so to get the temps dialled in correctly. This should let you see if you need to worry about anything. ;)

So one probe for 2 pads on identicle cages should be fine?

You can also buy separate probed digital thermometers :) I use them, along with the thermostat probes, for the most accurate read.
