the shed sucked  it was so patchy and half he couldn't even get off i was sp dissapointed in my self but his eye caps did come off :) so i got up this morning soaked him and let him run through a paper towel and it came off in some big peices(but it took me like a 1/2 hour cuz reeses isn't a fan of water) but in the end everything worked out and i got some pics in the process.

First shed isn't necessarily an indicator of how good or bad a job you've been doing. If he's still having patchy sheds in a few months, then we'll know there's a definite problem with humidity or substrate or temps to work on, but I think you'll do fine. Just make sure to pay attention to it.

It sounds like you did a good job handling the situation this time, but it's easier to get stuck shed off using a cloth towel than a paper towel -- it grips better -- so you might want to try that if you need to help him again. Congrats on a shiny, happy python! :)

Nice. :) And remember, don't get down on yourself over a bad first shed. Remember, usually the first shed reflects more on the previous keepers husbandry. The next shed should be better if you're takin care of him good. And I'm sure you are. :D
