    Bumpy eggs
I am incubating at 88.5 degrees with 99 percent humidity. A couple of the eggs have some bumps on them is this normal? Do I need to to adjust anything? There are some pictures below. Thanks for your help.

Congrats! It's SO exciting isn't it? My first ever snake clutch (mine was corns) hatched just a few days ago.

As far as the original question, I've seen pics of some really lumpy bumpy weird looking BP eggs, and most of them (at least the ones that I know what happened) hatched out just fine. When I used to raise laying hens, we gave them ground up oyster shell in their feed as a calcium supplement, but it was just to make the eggs look prettier. Wasn't really necessary for them to be healthy and produce eggs, at least as far as I knew. Pretty sure if it was necessary, there would have been more calcium in the chicken feed to start out with.

So I smashed the odds on this one. 8 eggs were laid. One die during incubation. Out of the 7 viable I got 5 butters and 2 normals

Here are some pictures of the first baby to come out. As well as the whole clutch that are still left in the eggs. In the last picture the egg in the middle on the bottom row appears to have a pretty severe kink. That egg was kicked out of the dams coil when she laid. It's so crazy to me that the mother can tell that early on that something wasn't right with it.
