Ok so today i was at petco picking up some substrate, when i look behind me in a tank, i see a pastel bp and next to it a spider bp. THEY WERE O BEAUTIFUL!!! But petco needs more humidity in their tanks because the spider still had a piece of shed stuck to its head.

buy directly from a breeder, online or at a reptile show :)

Not only that, but supporting big chain petstores like this really isn't a great idea. They really don't treat their animals right, at all. They also don't seem to be very educated on what they're selling either. For example, I was at Petco just the other day, picking up some more aspen, when I noticed five or ten crickets crawling in the corn snake enclosure. I quickly pointed it out to the lady near by, but she continued on and on why crickets are an important and healthy dietry item for all snakes. Not just Corn Snakes, ALL snakes.
Seriously, lady. You're telling me that I need to have my aunt, feed her seven-foot red tail boa, a CRICKET because it's crucially important to her diet? Nonono. The only snake I have ever heard of that actually relies on crickets as its' main source of food is a Rough Green Snake. Anyways, that's just a story of how uneducated Petco really is.
