Not interested in hides...??

Picked up our first bp today. A lesser 66%HET Clown and have gotten everything set up in his temporary tank (my AP t8 should be arriving any day now). The hot side is running 93 and the ambient temp is running 82 with a humidity level of 76% (he's literally just started shedding in car coming home with us). Odd thing is he's not using any hides. Instead he's curled up between the corner and my acu-rite under the florescent light (we live in Chicago where our house temp is still currently 68 soo we need the added heat of a florescent). Is it my temps? Or just let it be? He explored the cage thoroughly when I first put him in, no hesitance or anything. I just find it odd that he's not into his hides...?

Are the hides too big for him? They like to be snug up against the walls of their hides, I had the same issue with mine.

I don't think so... It'd be a nice fit for him

Maybe he just needs more time. Give it the night and see what you wake up too.
