Every night for the past week or so I'll go to bed and Roo will be in her warm hide. Every morning, invariably, the hide is destroyed: pagoda knocked over, slate platform dismantled, rocks pushed around. Is she trying to tell me something?

maybe she was looking for something
or maybe she is trying to tell you the way she wants things to be arranged.
our snakes have never re-arranged things like that, things get moved here and there, but all in all they don't move things around in the cage. the temp gauges get moved the most. i look at these to see if the snake came out at night when i was asleep. if the temp gauge is kind of crooked it means roswell was cruising around. same thing with roo too.

As for the moving of cage items .. Andy does that every now and again. I just figure he likes them better that way ;)

One of my Balls does that. he moves all of his hides around overnight, and in the morning he is underneath the newspaper substrate. I could spend $3.000 on fancy hides, and he would shun them for that darn newspaper. Maybe he was a homeless guy in a past life?

    Rage in the cage!!!!!
    i smell a pay-per-view event.
Tut will climb in his tree and pull all the branches down but thats about all.
As long as roo is'nt hurting herself i wouldn't worry about it.

Now that is just too funny  Cleo has moved her hide, but hers is large piece of willow bark that doesn't weigh much to begin with. My wife thinks its her female purogative to move anything a man places
