    Help me name my BP!!!
hello everyone! I just got my first pet snake ever a few days ago. I've always loved snakes and wanted to get one for myself, but my mom always said no. So anyone I knew that needed help with names I have them my ideas! For some reason now that I have my own snake I can't think of a name I like!!! I have a normal ball python and it's a girl(: I really would like a cool and unique name. Nothing common like from the movies or anything like that. I have a couple names set aside, but I'm not in love with them. So help me out!!!(:

Greek mythical gods, something that means something to you, a normal name like my BP, Peter!

I am into history so some of them in the future will be old Roman Commander names, I like the idea of that!

haha! I think we've been through this George, both of us have a BP named "pete". :)

There are a few people who use the greek/mythical gods as naming conventions. I use food, whichever food the animal reminds me of or how it acts is the name it gets. I had a turtle named porkchop cause he was a pig. Dijon is a yellow rat snake, etc...

Some people use tv show characters like anime or pokemon as well.

one of the coolest names i ever came across on this forum is "William Snakespeare". but that wont work for a female.

a bit nerdy, but you could check the list of brightest stars. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_brightest_stars Sirius, Vega or Betelgeuze sound nice. the problem is, they dont really have a gender associated with them.
