Feeding Question

So we went through a mite and bad shed problem so no wonder she went on a strike. Just before that I had upped her to small rats because she would easily take two mice and maybe more if I offered. She ate one rat two weeks in a row before not eating for a month. No weight loss. I decided to try mice again because she was feeling better but was still not taking the prey even though she seemed interested. Well, she are two mice and is doing her looking for food stance "just gotten to know her habits."

Any thoughts? I do not want to have to feed her more and more mice when she should be on rats that gave her a proper bulge. Thank you.

Since she'll eat two feeders you could try a mouse to get her into food/hunting mode, followed by a scented weanling rat, if you're concerned that she won't just switch straight back to rats.

I don't understand. She will eat mice already.

Feed her the mouse. While she is still in feeding mode and more likely to strike/eat, give her the rat. That should help transition her back to rats.
