New Pick Up!

I went and picked up my lesser bee from Doug (well, Doug's son) today! Meet Lemon Meringue! He's fresh out of shed and gorgeous! A bit cranky though. Just snapped a few pics, weighed him (844 grams) and put him in the tub to chill.

Hi Hannah! When I checked on him this morning I thought he had shed but after rooting around his tub I couldn't find one. So unless he shed out after that (around 7am) he's still due. He was in blue for the past couple of days so I think this just may be where he clears up before actually shedding. May explain why he's cranky...he's usually a sweetheart...:D

The shed was in his tub when I picked him up haha :) He was just being shy. The traffic home was awful so he was probably uncomfortable and stressed. Thanks again, he's a beautiful snake!

Thanks! He's a sweetheart and seems to have settled into his tub pretty well. He's even acquired a nickname: Merman, because apparently "Lemon Meringue" is too mouthy and "Lemon" is boring. You can thank my friend Meg for that.

Very nice. His colors are so bright.
